Our Story

Fellowship Nashville’s story began in the fall of 2016 as we launched as a campus of Fellowship Bible church of Brentwood with the hopes of being an agent of gospel change in the city we love so much. Our core group quickly grew to about 200 people who gathered in the 12 South neighborhood of Nashville every week, and grew in our awareness of who we are and what God was calling us to become.  In December of 2017, the decision was made to transition our campus into an autonomous church, so that we could better reach the unique context to which we were called in the city.

Elders were raised up and commissioned in the Fall of 2018, and we are prayerfully beginning the process of re-envisioning our future as a new church! We are so thankful for how God has shown up every step along the way, and we look forward with great excitement for what He has in store for the future.  There are many things that we don’t know, but what we do know is that we desire to be a Gospel-centered, disciple-making, multicultural church. We would love for you join us on this journey.

What To Expect

We understand that your first time at a church can be intimidating: you don’t know what to expect, you may not know anyone, or you simply want to “scope out” the church and get out the door quickly! Our hope is that you will feel warmly welcomed as a guest at one of our Sunday morning gatherings. Here are some questions we think you might like answered, even before you try us out!

What Is a Sunday Service Like?

We believe that the gospel changes everything! So, our 70-minute-long Sunday gatherings are structured to remind us of the good news about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We do this through singing, prayer, and teaching from the Bible. Our goal is not to manufacture a particular feeling or experience, but simply to remind ourselves that even in the midst of our brokenness, we are more loved in Jesus than we could imagine. As this truth sinks into our hearts, our prayer is that we will be transformed for His glory and for the good of our city.

What do I wear?

Most of us tend to dress casually, so you’ll see more jeans than dresses and dress shirts, but we encourage you to come as you are!

What about my kids?

Our Fellowship Kids ministry desires to bless the parents who attend our weekend gatherings with the assurance that their child is safe, well-loved, and growing in their knowledge of God and his love for them. We have a nursery and classes for kids up through 5th grade. Older students typically attend the worship service with their family.

Where do I park?

If you are a first-time guest, expectant/new mom, or have a physical disability, we have special spots reserved upfront right next to the main entrance. Otherwise, feel free to park in our back-parking lot or on the surrounding streets (see map).
