Sundays at Fellowship
We understand that your first time at a church can be intimidating: you don’t know what to expect, you may not know anyone, or you simply want to “scope out” the church and get out the door quickly! Our hope is that you will feel warmly welcomed as a guest at one of our Sunday morning gatherings. Here are some questions we think you might like answered, even before you try us out!
What Is a Sunday Service Like?
We believe that the gospel changes everything! So, our 70-minute-long Sunday gatherings are structured to remind us of the good news about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We do this through singing, prayer, and teaching from the Bible. Our goal is not to manufacture a particular feeling or experience, but simply to remind ourselves that even in the midst of our brokenness, we are more loved in Jesus than we could imagine. As this truth sinks into our hearts, our prayer is that we will be transformed for His glory and for the good of our city.
What do I wear?
Most of us tend to dress casually, so you’ll see more jeans than dresses and dress shirts, but we encourage you to come as you are!
What about my kids?
Our Fellowship Kids ministry desires to bless the parents who attend our weekend gatherings with the assurance that their child is safe, well-loved, and growing in their knowledge of God and his love for them. We have a nursery and classes for kids up through 5th grade. Older students typically attend the worship service with their family.
Where do I park?
If you are a first-time guest, expectant/new mom, or have a physical disability, we have special spots reserved in the upper lot next to the main entrance. Otherwise, please park in the lower parking lot, or on the south side of McIver Street, or on the cross street to the east (Meade Ave.). Please do not park on the north side of McIver Street or in front of neighboring houses or driveways so that we can maintain good relationships with our neighbors!
