Background

I was born in Dallas, Tx where I was raised by 2 amazing parents who loved God and loved me.  I saw very tangible behaviors in their daily lives that demonstrated their faith in God.  I went to college in west Texas, where I met and married my college sweetheart, Elisabeth.  We have 2 wonderful daughters, Abbey and Alexis. 

Vocationally, I have two “day” jobs.  I work as a doctor in the Pediatric ICU at the Children’s Hospital taking care of critically ill children, and I also spend a large amount of my time teaching and designing programs for the medical students on campus as well.

Faith Story

I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ in elementary school. While I knew a lot about God, I really made my faith my own during college, diving more deeply into relationship with Jesus. Through the ups and downs of my training, marriage, parenting and so much more, God has been consistently faithful, deepening my understanding and trust of Himself. 

Elisabeth and I have led small groups for most of our time together, experiencing their powerful life-changing impact.  We moved to Nashville in 2010, and have been around Fellowship Nashville since the early conversations about its development, and have been thrilled to watch it launch and grow over the years! During our time in Nashville and at Fellowship, God has taught me SO much about dependence on Him. 

At the core, Elisabeth and I are both passionate about seeing people grow and develop in their faith and walk with Jesus. That’s what we are about.
